Hard to believe it's been over TWENTY years since Hurricane Isabel. We were still fairly new to the Deep Creek area (about two years in), and this was the first time we ever had to evacuate our home. When we returned, it was pitch black outside. Streetlights had been knocked over into the streets, several places saw damage and power was out for a good while. I don't think I'll EVER forget that. Thanks for sharing this!
